These fellows will embark on a seven-month accelerator experience (June – January), delivered in a dynamic virtual format.

$10,000

Upon successful completion, participants will be awarded a US $10,000 Global Fellows Prize.

Networking

Participants will gain access to the Mentors community and become part of the Global Fellows network by CHRHS at Brown University.

  • Axana Soltan

    (she/hers), 26 yo, Afghanistan, United States

    A human rights lawyer and research scholar. A Forbes 30 under 30 honoree.

  • Deborah Akello

    (she/her), 33 yo, Uganda

    Bar-certified attorney founded Women And Girls Rights Advocacy Uganda in 2019 to advocate for the rights of rural, uneducated women and girls.

  • Muetter Iliquid

    (she/hers), 26 yo, China/Uyghur

    Uyghur academic activist and human rights lawyer, has extensive experience advocating against the persecution of Uyghurs and Turkic minorities in China.

  • Noemi Grütter

    (she/hers), 29 yo, Switzerland

    Coordinator for Advocacy and Collaborations at the Global Alliance for Green and Gender Action (GAGGA), working at the intersection of climate and gender justice.

  • Anastase Ndagijimana

    (he/his), 29 yo Rwanda

    A gender and education activist, Founder and Executive Director of We Got Your Back NGO and Rwanda Men Engage Network Youth Coordinator.

  • Rita Kamazima

    (she/hers), 34 yo, Tanzania

    Global health and gender professional, committed to youth empowerment and gender justice, having served extensively with US Governmental Agencies and contributed to public health initiatives.

  • Jhuma Sen

    (she/hers), 39 yo, India

    Practicing Advocate at the Calcutta High Court and the Supreme Court, specializes in anti-discrimination law, criminal justice, and gender justice.

  • Sarah Imran

    (she/hers), 33 yo, Pakistan

    Political Science PhD candidate focused on Feminist Comparative International Politics, is dedicated to gender justice.

  • Saro Imran

    (she/hers), 30 yo, Pakistan

    The transgender activist has been advocating for transgender rights, culminating in the historic Trans Protection Act 2018, and has received multiple awards for her contributions

  • Shannon Hardy

    (she/her), 29 yo, Sri Lanka

    Advocates for legal and policy reforms to promote human rights, currently supporting the Sri Lanka Women Parliamentarians’ Caucus (WPC) in gender equality and social inclusion advocacy.

  • Tara Grace Connolly

    (she/her), 27 yo, N. Ireland

    An activist and advocate, currently sits on the All-Island Women’s Forum and the Shared Island Youth Forum, working on peace building and gender issues.

  • Yasmina Benslimane

    (she/her), 31 yo, Morocco

    Award-winning feminist activist, consultant, and women's empowerment coach founded Politics4Her to advance gender equality and advocate for political participation.
